Kevin Garnett will waive his no-trade clause for the discussed Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics blockbuster trade involving Garnett and Paul Pierce, Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reports. The Nets have agreed to pay Garnett all of the $12 million is he owed for the 2013-14 season.

In the trade, Boston will send Garnett, Pierce and Terry to Brooklyn in return for Gerald Wallace, Kris Joseph, Kris Humphries and three future-first round picks (2014, ’16, ’18). The Nets will also send Reggie Evans to the Celtics in a sign-and-trade and an additional minimum-level player as a part of the deal.

The trade can’t be made official by the NBA until July 10.
