ADIDAS AND THE CELTICS: LIKE CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER

Adidas, possibly the coolest shoe company on the planet, partnered last week with the Boston Celtics. They will now be the official outfitter of the team. Adidas is set to sponsor a bunch of in-game promotions, including the "Adidas Fan Makeover", and they will a bigger presence on the Celtics official website. Adidas will also sponsor the noise meter in the arena. Right on!

THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

This holiday season, the Boston Celtics are teaming up the the US Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program. Donations of new, non-violent, unwrapped toys will be accepted at the turnstiles in the TD Banknorth Garden before Celtics games on 12/08 and 12/15. Upon donating a toy, you will receive a raffle ticket that puts you in the running to win a Celtics autographed basketball. Now that's the spirit of Christmas!

CELTICS CHEWED UP BY THE RAPTORS!

Despite Paul Pierce's impressive playing on Friday night, the Boston Celtics could not beat the Toronto Raptors in Toronto. The Celtics even outscored the Raptors by 4 points in the third quarter and scored the first 8 in the 4th. Even still, the Celtics are just one game behind New Jersey for first place in the Atlantic Division. I sure miss the days of Larry Bird!
